  • Attended funeral services at Sunset for a 46 year old son of a mother who had invited her friends to the service. Immediately impressed with the lobby reception, the professionalism, competence, and concern of those handling all the arrangements from beginning to end. Advance preparations by the staff led to a successful execution of every aspect of the funeral. Without much ado & to keep everything on schedule, they managed diplomatically to restrain & remove one unruly non-stop speaker who had gone far beyond her prepared remarks.

With in 2 min after grave site service was over. The workers walk up and started moving the casket around then starting lowering into the ground. I was not family but it disturbed me. The place was very nice

My husband passed away on Dec 22, 2015 since his passing I have had nothing but problems from sunset. Took over 3 months to get a temporary marker when finally came was so glad. Go every Sunday to visit him, that next Sunday marker was gone and grave sunken in terribly. Told them about grave they put dirt and had them order another marker still waiting. Also ordered permanent marker gave them design and picked stone etc. Check every week for proof still none. Took my down payment but no proof to okay. This has been over two months, excuses, excuses. Now was told lady handling the headstones or markers no longer works there. Have new person and left message for her, still no reply. So fed up with them my mother in-law picked this place for her burial so my husband wanted to be buried there we are behind her. Also very unkempt grounds and they do not water. Found out they turn off the water on the grounds on the weekend so we can't water our graves. You used to years ago, I told my daughters I do not want to be laid to rest there because how uncaring they are and how it is being run. I want to move my husband out of there if I could. Always upset every time I visit him and when I leave. It's hard enough to lose a loved one and than have to put up with there lousy management of the place.
