We visited many times before having our daughter baptized here at St. John Neumann. We enjoy the church, the traditions here as well as Father Octavio and the way he accurately portrays the homolies based off the scripture readings. The only complaint I have is that it is always very hot in the church. I was so over heated when I was pregnant that I almost passed out. So if you are looking for a place that is on fire for God and the temperature in the sanctuary mirrors that, this is definitely the place for you!

3 times I visited his church in my own neighborhood and all 3 times I have had hateful experiences. The second day after moving into my new home, I attended Mass at this church. I was new to the parish and I was welcomed by a bitter, crusty old Lady demanding me, to moved from her bench of 20 years. She remained standing while I prayed on my knees. The second time, while waiting patiently in a small hall for Mass to organize, the Organ player came in the door and scowled "Get out of my way" as he proceeded to the Altar. The third time was Easter, and weak from a major Surgery I accidently dropped the host. A short stocky woman from the altar committee ran toward me and demanded I stoop and pick it up from the floor with my mouth. She then followed me to my seat and continued to offend me. I asked her to go away. I will never return there again. I attended the Little Flower Shrine and received the best education and religious rearing by the most caring Sisters. Never had I seen or experienced such disrespect in a holy temple.

This is the most amazing group of people. I was really in a financial bind. I was so upset and depression was really setting in. I felt like there was nowhere to turn. Then a friend told me about St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Earth angel's so grateful for the generosity, caring, kind and loving spirit of everyone. I'd like to thank the church members and the community for their donations. May GOD bless you all abundantly.
Respectfully yours,

I had a reaction to the wine in the communion cup around Christmas. Run them off! A dumb blonde who loves to smoke a cigar, Isabel Sloane
