  Perfect, balanced church where the name of Christ is lifted.
  
  Anyone can get up to a podium, tell a nice story and throw a few verses in there but it seems of all of the churches that we have visited this takes the cake between worship, missions, outreach, personal relationships, and preaching.
  
  The Pastor's are definitely called and it is absolutely a treat to hear Pastor Jeff.

  I love it here. The atmosphere is very friendly as well as welcoming, & casual & they make the sermon relatable to the everyday life struggles that we all encounter. The music is great & keeps it from being boring. Overall, we are very happy we found this church!

  On May 17, this year, my wife and I attended a marriage counseling session that this church offers with Bob Rauscher a community pastor who has had experience working with couples. To start off I want to say that I believe that respect is everything. It's how I was raised and even though one can be outright wrong we still honor each other to truly build one another up in Christ; after all, it is the precursor to loving one another as Christ demands of all of us. Bob was extremely rude and to be honest after hearing his testimony for 30 minutes one can get a feel that he is a somewhat feminine man. He went on and on about how he spent years in the beauty & hair field and had spent that time listening and learning from the women that came to him (this made me very uncomfortable but out of respect for him and his station I still gave him the benefit of a doubt and kept my guard down to possibly learn something new). In his testimony he had told us about him and his current wife and how they had struggled with traditional gender roles but through God's healing and prayer learned to love each other more and fulfill them in obedience. Unfortunately when it came to my wife and myself he couldn't handle it. When he asked me about our issues I really struggled to say anything due to the weird vibes I had already received; but when I finally blurted something out he went on a full feminist tirade. Full disclosure I am currently not working, on antidepressants, and have a back injury that has rendered me disabled and am currently in the process of getting government disability because some days I can barely walk let alone work. The Bible doesn't offer much for situations like mine and I would be the first one to admit that I am not a perfect husband or provider but what Bob did was yell and argue the Bible with me. At one point I had to stop him and make him listen because he was without doubt hysterical. I am sorry if I offend anyone walking out of the confusion of homosexuality, but even this man's voice sounded like a catty gay man telling off some misogynist. My wife was so stunned she just sat there in silence blown away. After that we decided to walk out, which leads me to the point of doing this negative review. My wife and I made a point to try and speak with this man's authority because of our horrendous experience (I called and she emailed). She received a 'we'll look into it' response and I received a voicemail from senior pastor Jeff. Pastor Jeff's message said he wanted to speak to me as soon as possible to take care of this issue but nothing came of it. I called back he wasn't available and that was that. This isn't ok. The lack of integrity shown in this situation is mind blowing and further more should be a determining factor in anyone considering this place as a church home.

  We been members of this church for about a year and a half, and have grow more spiritually during that time than we did during the past decade. They do a great job balancing structure/organization with flexibility and sensitivity to the Spirit. They have high expectations of the members, without getting legalistic about it.

  This is the church family we've decided to join while we live in San Antonio. The teaching is solid/Bible-based, they support community at home and abroad, the children's and youth services are great, and they really offer every opportunity to connect and plug in. (you can come and never make it your family, too.)
